Puakenikeni Trio Hat — Blanc Hibiscus

Three puakenikeni capture the flower as its color changes over time, moving from pale yellow to golden yellow and finally orange. Soft blue-green and white fabric fills the appliquéd petals, while the changing embroidery colors tell the story across the tan trucker hat.
Each flower is cut from fabric and appliquéd directly onto the foam front, then finished by hand with blanket and chain stitching, plus a bullion knot for added texture at the center. The mesh back keeps air moving, while an adjustable snap closure makes it easy to find a comfortable fit.
Made in small batches on Kauaʻi, Hawaiʻi. Because of the handmade process and fabric layout, no two are exactly the same.
Spot clean with mild soap and water as needed. Do not soak or machine wash. Air dry away from direct sunlight, and handle the embroidered details and front panel with care.
