Close at hand, without being in hand.

A familiar fanny pack shape gets a lot more interesting when patchwork and plenty of pockets enter the picture. There’s space to keep everyday essentials together while giving smaller things their own places instead of letting everything collect in one compartment. Worn around the waist or across the body, it keeps what you need nearby while all those separate pockets make it easier to know where you actually put it.

Patchwork brings a completely different look to such a familiar bag. Scraps from different fabrics are pieced together across the design, putting colors and prints next to combinations they may never have met otherwise. The name Loʻi-work plays on that patchwork construction and a loʻi, the Hawaiian word for a taro patch, giving the collection a little wordplay of its own while the fabric pieces do the mixing and matching.

All those pockets come in especially handy when a fanny pack is doing what it does best: going places. Keys can stay separate from a phone, smaller items don’t have to disappear underneath everything else, and the things you use throughout the day can have their own spots instead of becoming one pile. For errands, travel, events, walks, and long days away from home, it’s an easy way to carry more than your pockets can handle while keeping everything close and your hands free.
