How to Fold Your Market Tote

Ready to pack your tote back up? It only takes a few folds to get it back into its compact shape and snapped closed. Once folded, it’s easy to tuck away in the car, another bag, or your luggage so it’s ready whenever you need some extra carrying room.

How to Fold

For the easiest fold, start by finding the plastic snap near the top of the tote, directly below the fabric flap. Lay the tote on a flat surface with that snap facing down. The fabric flap and handles should extend above the tote, with the handles resting on top of the flap.
  1. Fold the handles down at their base, just below where they meet the body of the tote.
  2. Fold the sides inward in thirds.
  3. Starting at the bottom, fold the tote upward in thirds toward the flap.
  4. Wrap the flap around the folded tote and snap it closed.
